Who knew that Sunday night dinner could be this much fun? Aunties, ask mom and dad if you can take over dinner plans this weekend, and have a “make your own pizza” party with the nieces and nephews!  First you’ll need a pizza stone and some pizza dough, sauce and a variety of cheeses. Then, have fun with the toppings. Kids will love eating their veggies if they’re THEIR veggies. So cut up red, green and orange peppers, mushroom, tomatoes, spinach, broccoli, and whatever else catches your fancy, Auntie. How about pineapple slices?  We even encourage Aunties to take the nieces and nephews shopping for their favorite toppings beforehand. You can give each child a budget. They’ll love to eat what they bought with “their” money.

Now it’s time for the “art project.”  First, ask the kids to wash their hands. Then, let the kids decorate the pizza how they want. They’ll love watching the pizza bake in the oven, and you’ll love watching them eat it all up. And by the way, so will their mom and dad!
