Taking the kids to a make-your-own pottery store can be great fun – and one that lasts a long time (at least until the pottery breaks!)

Aunties recommend taking kids to a pottery store before a holiday or special event. Perhaps they can make Dad his very own pasta bowl for his birthday! Or make grandma a teapot. One Savvy Auntie made a Hanukah menorah with her nieces and nephews that they lit together over the holiday. Chances are, some kids will want to make something for Auntie, since they love her so much. Now THAT is worth every penny.
