Making Memories
Written By Savvy Auntie Staff Writers
Here’s an idea for an activity you can share with your nieces and nephews, all while finally putting those photos in albums! Oh and yes, it’s a great time to finally download and print your digital photos!
Kids love looking at photos, especially pictures of themselves when they were smaller. Depending on the ages of the nieces and nephews, either pre-sort or have them help you sort through photos. You can make several albums, or create sections in one album. You can sort by child, chronologically, or by occasion. Again, depending on the age of the child, either you or the child can write little memories next to the photos: “This is me holding my new baby sister who just came home from the hospital.” Of course, you might need to help them remember some of the occasions in the album – and it will bring up lots of questions that can only make you closer.
Finally, once the album is completed, label it having something to do with the child: “My Niece Samantha Lilly, ages 0-4.” It will be the first thing she wants to see when she comes to visit you!
In the meantime, download your digital photos to your Savvy Auntie Media Box!
