Macaroni Art
Make fun and fancy pictures using items you already have around the house!
What You'll Need:
-macaroni in different shapes and colors (spinach, carrot or red-pepper flavors will be different colors) - you can dye the macaroni to be the colors you'd like, but this will take additional time and supplies.
-pencils
-Elmer's glue
-paper plates, heavy construction paper or cardstock
What To Do:
1. Draw a picture on the paper plate or construction paper.
2. Trace a line of glue over the lines in the picture - be sure the glue isn't so thin that the macaroni won't stick to it.
3. One-by-one, place each macaroni piece on the glue. Use different shapes to create texture. For instance, a wagon-wheel-shaped pasta piece might be used to make the wheels on a truck, while spinach-flavored linguini might make a great grassy field.
4. Allow the pictures to dry for several hours, then display.
