Long Distance Aunties – send your nieces and nephews some paper and crayons and ask them to draw you a picture that you can put on your fridge to think of them.

You can ask them to draw something specific or let their little creative minds run wild. You can also ask them to write a message to you. Be sure to remind them to “sign” their artwork, even if that means asking for Mommy’s help.

Next time they come for a visit, show them their artwork on your fridge. They will be so proud. In advance of their visit, you can take a digital photo and email it to them so they can see how their drawings are displayed.

If the drawing is extra special, consider framing it. Again, you can send a photo of it framed so your little one can see their work of art on display for everyone to see!
