Halloween Gratitude
Written By Savvy Auntie Staff Writers
Ok, so you're guilty. You've given the kids more Halloween candy then
they can safely eat. They've picked their favorites and have portioned
out their 'save for tomorrow' treats.
But there's a whole plastic pumpkin pail still full of wrapped
Halloween treats. Now's a great time to teach your little nieces and
nephews how to give a treat to others.
Operation Gratitude accepts Halloween treats and care packages for the troops. So pack up
the kiddies goodies and add a card from each child, and show the
soldiers a little holiday love. The kids can feel good about bringing a little sweetness to the troops. Their parents - and the kids' tummies - will thank you for it.
