You came over last night around 9, newly fed and ready to sleep. Your great grandparents held you, and sang some songs to you. For a while, you parents made excuses not to leave you just quite yet. But reluctantly they left you here with me and your grandparents. You fell asleep in grandpas arms, slept in mine for an hour and then grandmas for a while. I went to bed, not without kissing you goodnight. Then at 4:30am I woke up to your crying, and grandpa was changing you. So I got up to help, and I’m holding you still at 7am. You’ve had a bottle and now you’re making the cutest noises. Rest well babygirl!
