My 3 yo niece and 6 yo nephew love listening to Adam Lambert songs and when I showed them a couple of his videos, they asked why he wore makeup? I told them it was just his style and how he expresses himself and his art. My nephew (who's mom is not very open to the gay lifestyle, I am being nice) asked if he was gay, I told him yes, I thought he was. He asked if I thought it was wrong, because his mom does? I told him no, I dont thinki its wrong. People are just different, that is what makes everyone special. If we were all the same it would be very boring. I asked him if he thought it was wrong, he said I dont know, then went back to dancing to the music. I feel if you dont make a big deal about it, then they won't either. His step mom's sister is gay and is married, she visits like once every couple years, so I am hoping when she comes to visit next, he will have an open mind. I hope to move him in a direction of acceptance, but if not I will just hope that heis at least respectful of other lifestyles, even if he doesnt agree with them. My neice couldn't care less right now. She watches RuPaul's drag race and thinks the girls are pretty.
