Dear Savvy Auntie,

I’m considering taking my 14-year-nephew with me on vacation. I do a lot of international travel, his parents do not, mostly for monetary reasons.

I’m wondering if it’s too extravagant to invite my nephew on a (fully funded) trip with me? He’s expressed interest in Italy and I would love to take him.
