AUNT CAMP: All the Fun You’ve Had This Summer

Week 1: Get Up!
On the very first week of Aunt Camp, we all got active! There was rollerblading, bike riding, and ice-skating.
Week 2: Chalk!
Your nieces and nephews drew outside with sidewalk chalk. They learned their ABCs, played hopscotch, drew their aunt, made their own chalk, created an obstacle course, and even colored in the rain.
Week 3: Write!
This week, you inspired your nieces and nephews with creative writing projects. They looked at art, became a reporter for a day, wrote an adventure tale, and found similarities in very different objects.
Week 4: Water!
Your nieces and nephews cooled down with some water fun. They made giant bubbles, tossed water balloons, improved their motor skills with a pipette, made splatter art with a water squirter, and learned about evaporation.
Week 5: Go Natural!
Your nieces and nephews got in touch with “Aunt Earth" by going camping, gardening, playing with butterflies, made a guidebook of trees, and created nature crafts.
Week 6: Learn to code!
No matter what age they are, this week all your nieces and nephews learned to code with apps and online games.
Week 7: Read Together!
This week, you took your nieces and nephews to a bookstore and found a few books to read together. You learned how to make the experience even better. We even gave you a few suggestions for good books to read with your older nieces and nephews.
Week 8: Auntie’s Day!
Auntie’s Day is Sunday, July 26! This week, we encourage you to take a break from Aunt Camp and celebrate your life as their Auntie.
Week 9: Make Music!
This week, you held a parade, picked out an instrument for music lessons, made up a song, took them to their first concert, and showed them the songs of the world.
Week 10: Sand!
This week, you brought the beach to them. You and your nieces and nephews played with kinetic sand, did an archaeology dig, made sand art, developed their fine motor skills and got crafty with sand paper.
Week 11: Paint!
You spiced up an old classic this week. Faces and picture frames were your canvases and foam, bubble, and nail polish were your paint.
Week 12: Scrapbook!
For our last week of Aunt Camp, you saved your memories by making a scrapbook with your nieces and nephews. You took pictures, went to the craft store, designed cool layouts, wrote about your summer, and included their original artwork on the pages.
