DIY Halloween Pumpkin Facials
Halloween masks may have you thinking ghosts and goblins, but when it comes to gearing up for October 31st this year, why not consider a more beautifying kind of Halloween mask?
Sure, you can still go all out when it comes to your costumes, but whether you’re looking to revive skin that’s clogged and or dull from too much face paint or just for a festive holiday-themed activity to do with your nieces, try a pumpkin-packed DIY facial mask.
Serves 2
For all skin types
Ingredients
1 Tbsp. full fat plain yogurt
1 Tbsp. pureed pumpkin (canned works!)
1 Tbsp. chopped walnuts
Instructions
Mix all ingredients until well combined. Divide and apply half to your face and half to your niece’s face, avoiding the eye area. Let sit for 15 minutes before using your fingers to gently scrub skin.
The vitamin A in the pumpkin and the lactic acid in the yogurt will help to break down dead, dull skin cells while the walnuts will help to gently scrub them away. Better yet, the probiotics in the yogurt will help to balance bacteria in the skin to prevent breakouts, too!
