A Group is a good way to create a network of Savvy Aunties based on a common interest. Common interests can include shared hobbies, points of view, common threads, etc and can be as vast as Single Aunties to very specific like Aunts Named Mimi.
Creating a Group is easy. Simply click on the Create a New Group link on the Groups page, and follow the instructions. Tell Aunties a little about the Group and add a Group photo if available. The Group photo is not necessarily a photo of yourself or the Group members, but rather a representation of what the Group is about.
You can also add Group News as it occurs, and send a Savvy Group Note to all the members. Plus, members can communication with each other in the Chatter Box.
Next, invite your Savvy Auntie Friends to join the Group. Once they sign up for the Group, these new members’ Friends will learn about the Group too and may join as well. That is, of course, if you want them too. You can keep the Group open to just those you invite. It’s entirely up to you as Group Owner.
Your Groups
You can join as many open Groups as you like. And since there are so many great features that make it easy and fun to join and participate in a Group, Groups are a great way to meet women with common interests in your area and around the country.
If you are not ready to create your own Group, feel free to search Groups under categories of interest. Perhaps someone has formed a Group for Aunts of kids with Autism. Or perhaps someone else creating a Group with hints on how to cook for kids. And you may find a Group that loves Jimmy Choos as much as you do.
Community Guidelines
Like everywhere else on the site, Groups are responsible to adhere to the Savvy Auntie Community Guidelines.
We look forward to seeing Savvy Aunties across the country and around the world find each other in these Groups.
