Every Savvy Auntie can be an Expert on SavvyAuntie.com. Simply add your Expertise to our Auntiepedia and members will vote for the best entry on each topic.
If you are an Expert in a specific field that relates to Aunts, nieces or nephews, and are considering contributing content on a regular basis, we would to hear from you. Please send an email as to what type of Expertise you would like to publish on SavvyAuntie.com, along with your resume and credentials. We will get back to you soon.
I sent in a Question to Dear Savvy Auntie but it has not been published. Why not?
There are a couple of reasons why your Question may not have been answered. Savvy Auntie does not respond to specific individual cases where direct, professional care is necessary. We do not respond to Questions that do not hold up to our Community Guidelines and Terms of Service. And if we do not have a response we think is appropriate, we cannot respond. Most Questions do get responded to, however, so it could be that yours is in the queue.

I have some great ideas for Activities for Aunts to do anywhere. How can I add them to SavvyAuntie.com

I know about some great activities for Aunts to do locally. How can I add it to the Go City Kids site?

GIFTS
I have some great gift ideas. Why can’t I add them to the catalog directly.
Currently, SavvyAuntie.com is not accepting gift ideas, but we do encourage you to comment upon related gifts or add your gift ideas in related Groups and Forums. You may also contribute to the Gifts area in the Auntiepedia.
I purchased a gift from a link on your site and I want to return it and I don’t like their policy. Can you help me?
Unfortunately, we have no control over the sales policies of any of the vendors we link to in the Gifts section. You will have to work it out between yourselves. But we wish you the very best in that process.
I want to list my company's gift ideas on your site. How do I do that?
We recommend you send your press materials to Gifts@savvyauntie.com for consideration.
I noticed that one of the gifts you list no longer exists or the price has changed. How can I let you know?

How often do you update Gifts?
The gifts are updated as often as possible as our editors research the insider toy industry for the best possible Gift solutions for your nieces and nephews.
I own an e-commerce site that is linked to in the Gifts section, and I've gotten a SavvyAuntie.com member comment that I feel is unfair. What can I do?
If you feel your business or product has been unfairly or inaccurately described, we recommend that you respond with a comment of your own explaining why you believe the comment is unfair.
ABOUT
I have a children's charity I would like to recommend for the Savvy Auntie list of Children's Charities We Love. How can I do that?
Savvy Auntie accepts recommendations for NATIONAL 501 (C) (3) organizations that help children in need. Please send the link and mission statement of the organization you are recommending, along with a reason why it should be included to Editor@savvyauntie.com.

REGISTRATION
Why do I need to Join?
SavvyAuntie.com asks that visitors register in order to access certain areas of the site that involve Community. For example, while you can access the Gifts section without registering, you cannot comment on gifts or add gifts to your Favorites. We use the information you tell us at registration to better understand you and the other Savvy Aunties so we can design our content to suit your needs.
What if I forget my password?
Go to the Login page and follow the instructions for password recovery.
How do I change my password?
You can change your password here.
How do I make changes to my Profile?
If you’re logged in, simple go to your Profile Settings. You can make changes to any part of your Profile other than your Profile name.
SUBSCRIPTIONS
How do I cancel the newsletter?
Just go to this page and remove your email address from the newsletter form:
I've signed up as a member, but I'm not receiving my weekly email newsletter. Where is it?
You should receive your first newsletter within a week of signing up, although it may take longer soon after we launch. If you're not getting your newsletter, it's possible your email system is mistaking it for spam (junk email). Configure your spam blocker to allow email from @savvyauntie.com, or ask your email administrator to do it.
